*So, for those who are at LDS, taking part in the New Horizons program, and what have you, there's a notice up in the main entryway of LDS's Domino building.
"Searching for Participants for Experimental Real Solid Vision Testing
Requirements include: Experience with supernatural phenomena AND/OR abilities related to supernatural phenomena.
Must be willing to run and be active. You will be dueling against a programmed AI for the purposes of the test.
Test will be cut short if any issues arise.
If wish to inquire, please come to testing room [XXXVXXX]

Doesn't this sound like fun?? You should totally join in on this.*

"Are we preparing our students for battles with monsters now?"

If you want to think of it like that. I just want to test the limits of what can be done with the Real Solid Vision technology.
It just happens to coincide with skills that might be necessary, since we're cooperating with the Spirit-Arcadia Institute.

Wronski shrugs at that.
"Yeah? I mean, I guess there's some bad spirits out there, but as far as I've looked into, we've got other things for that. Though there's always worst case scenarios I suppose..." He taps on his chin.
"So, you're simulating big monsters, seeing if our kids can handle it, and if they can't, stop the test, all the while seeing if your system can do it? That's... mighty impressive Mister Yamada."

There's a lot of things Real Solid Vision can do.
Besides, it's not just "big monsters" I'm trying to simulate. There's other things that need to be tested too.
The problem is making sure the simulation doesn't get too real.

I'm allowing them some level of confidentiality if they want it. Otherwise, I'll be publishing the results in a report for LDS.

I guess there's no smoking in that."

He chuckles, slipping his cigarette into a pack.
"Lead the way Mister Yamada."

he leads you to the testing room.
it looks normal. there's clearly a dueling AI on the far side though. one of the newest models-- LDS is fancy like that.*
