[Dual Post]
(( [Important Log] ))
[Announcement]
I would like to announce that all testing for the AI Duelist system has been completed.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the three rounds of testing that I had organized, and while there were multiple bumps along the way, it has been a fruitful experience.
I hope that the progress made with this system will be able to be applied soon enough in future endeavors for LDS, as well as schools such as Duel Academy and the College, and the associated programs such as the Super Junior League and New Horizons.
Thank you once again.
[Event]
*... and after that announcement was made, Mamoru's just. Spending some time right outside of the testing room. easily seen, too, even though he's currently sitting against the wall, head on his knees, as he mumbles into a phone. He eventually ends the call, before letting out a sigh.
He has not had a great day.*

...
Make sure you do it with the Top Team.
I want this done both quickly, and in a manner that we can figure out what exactly is going on, Yamada. But I can't overlook company property being damaged and defective to this extent, either.

*he bows his head slightly, and then turns to go.* If that is all, then.

It is. For the moment.
... I would hate to lose you as an asset and employee.
::Walks out before heading out the door, before being stopped by a young man with blonde hair and a headband, wearing a Top Team Outfit, who whispers in the president's ear. ... Reiji talks to him for a moment, before leaving, while the young man look up at you a bit unnervingly, Mamoru.::

I've been told to cooperate with your team concerning the repairs of the AI system.

I ain't with that part of the Top Team, Doc. But.
Like the boss-man says. We'd hate to lose you as an asset.
::He says this with a southern drawl. Definitely Kyoto or Osaka. Taps chin for a moment.::
Though, thinkin' on it, I do have a question or two for ya, Doc.
Ya know either of these two?
::Pulls out the worst looking photos of Asuka and Sora. As in goofy faces, not picture quality.::

They were both previously subjects for the AI System tests.

The former is incredibly skilled at dueling, and was the major driving force for allowing me to implement a more aggressive AI routine after he questioned why it didn't try to find an action card to stop his Fusion techniques.
However, I found he was also incredibly ruthless in his dueling, and took enjoyment in hunting down the AI personality during the last duel he partook in.
Miss Yuuki is a teacher at the Domino Duel Academy school, as well as a volunteer at SAI-- I believe she's married to the current owner, as well.
While she is also good at dueling, and her duel for the system was very impressive, she struck me as someone who was trying to find something wrong with what was being done. Which, I suppose the AI Duels did not give off the best of impressions, but she seemed to find it weird that I was working in this field at all. She also questioned why LDS would need an AI system this advanced to be worked on.
In the end, however, she seemed to be pleasantly surprised by the result of the AI system. Like she expected the worst of it.

Hrm. And do you talk to her outside of work? Ms. Yuuki, that is. There's an impression among the Top Team and so such she might do something...
Less than smart for a woman like herself. To this place.

While I think she may have some specific misgivings about LDS, can I ask why you feel she might do something?

The Ma'am seems to think we're supervillains or something off like that. I reckon it's from spending too much time in this here city.
But.
I'm mostly trying to make sure she ain't gonna do nuthin' stupid.
no subject
But I think she was left with a very positive impression from the test, and admitted that she was on-edge up until that point.
no subject
Maybe it's just fondness of the experience.
But.
Thanks, Doc.
::Waves as he walks off. The atmosphere suddenly feels less tense already.::

He didn't even realize he was holding it. Whoever he was-- he wasn't even a part of the top team?-- he's very... strange.
But Mr. Akaba trusts him. So he supposes he can't complain.
... Strange that Miss Yuuki is doing things like that, however... Maybe he should try to step out more in the evening.*
